Province of Bohemia, The European Union

Today, I had an interview that was more for knowledge than thrills. I interviewed David Allen Forbes who is in the middle of writing his second book, Castles of Zombie War: The Continent. This would be the subject of out interview, castles. During the time of the infection Forbes found refuge Windsor. He told me about how castles with high walls and people could defend themselves. The problem comes when they run out of food. He told me that they would raid other castles in the winter for supplies. How could they live with that on their conscience? At this point, I'm sure they were so scared they were willing to do anything. As he described Windsor I became amazed. From a defensive standpoint it was almost perfect, it had thirteen acres of land, its own well for water, and enough storage space for ten years of rations. Most importantly, there was an oil rig near buy. The engineers who lived at Windsor built a contraption to bring the oil into the castle which was highly successful. They used the oil to burn zombies that fell into a pit, but their main source of killing was from medieval weapons. He used a claymore, a difficult weapon to master. As I interview more people it seems as though those that survived had to be resourceful and back to the "old school" way of fighting.

Parnell Air National Guard Base, Tennessee

Today I interviewed Colonel Christina Eliopolis and had a very interesting interview. She flied a Raptor fighter plane unlike any other. She became very frustrated when DeStRes banned these planes because they were considered strategically invalid. This frustrated her because she went through hell for her training and was banned from using what she had spent a portion of her life training for. How would you feel? She told me the main mission of the airforce was airborne resuply, the only thing that mattered during the time of war. Eliopolis then showed me a map that illustrated sections of the United States where there were people make a stand against the zombies. If you could be anywhere in the United States during the invasion, where would you want to be? I personally would like to be in the Rocky Mountain for the coverage and protection and resuplyment of the government. This is when she began to tell me of the story of when she was making a run from Phoenix to Tallahassee Florida when her crew hit major turbulance and the tail fell off, the plane then started dipping and luckily she made it out with her parachute along with one other man who was later eaten by the zombies. With the help of a skywatcher she successfully made it out of the infested area but with great difficulty. Even with the help of a skywatcher I don't think I could make it. But, there is training, which factored into her escape. What would you do if twelve zombies were coming at you? Give up, or keep on fighting? Eliopolis kept on fighting.

Robben Island, Cape Town Province, United States of Southern Africa

Today I meet with a reporter by the name of Xolelwa Azania. Azania is halfway through his third volume of Rainbow Fist: South Africa at War. The book is about what we are discussing, the the turning point against the infected. It is good to know I am not the only one out there interested in trying to preserve this story for our future man. Azania told me about Paul Redeker, whose views of the world's problems are harsh but he does have solutions. I was told about how Redeker was put jail for his, "Plan Orange."This plan was a survival guide for the Afrikener people. This plan was brilliant, the only flaw was that it made him the most hated man in South Africa. His plan included the sacrifice of some to save many. His plan was realistic in that not everyone would escape. His plan was presented in front of Generals and what not but it was rejected with anger. He then went into hiding but was later found by the government to actually ues his plan, modified with all the time he spent alone. Some say it was Redeker's plan that saved the world. What do you think? Although no one know where he is at the moment, some condider him a God, and some consider him a devil.

Denver, Colorado, USA

Today I had an intense interview with World War Z veteran Todd Wainio. The interview was long as he recapped on one battle that was supposed to be the turning point in the war. It proved to be the exact opposite. He told me the military was supposed to hold the zombies in Yonkers, New York. The military wanted there to be millions watching so when they eradicated the zombies, it would restore peace. Yet, as Todd told me the story, I learned exactly what the military didn't want to happen, happend. Todd told me that the soldiers on the front line were equipped with the most high technological equipment there was. Hydra rocket pods, state of the art communication, tanks, humvees, and stingers. Everything they thought they needed to enaliate the zombies. As the zombies came in the shooting begun. Todd told me the scariest thing was when the zombies apperead through the cloud of smoke crawling, still alive. You would think the government would capture a zombie and do tests on them to see what works best before going againist an a group of zombies consisting of millions. So after the weapons failed it was the soldiers job to take them out. Todd told me this was hard because he had to aim for the head and that was hard because all his life he had been told to aim at the chest. The zombies then broke the line and started infecting soldiers. Todd was pulled out before he died. Lucky him. Instead of this day being rembered for a huge vitory, it is rembered for a great loss. Maybe next time there should be some reasearch done. Maybe that would have stopped this horrific day from ever happening. At least after this battle they knew they would have to take a totally different approach to win this war.

Bridgetown, Barbados, West Indies Federation

Today, I interviewed T. Sean Collins a big man who worked as mercenary for the rich. What had happened was the celebrities and public figures, or anyone who had a ton of money paid to live in what was like a safe house in the Caribbean. It had concrete walls, look-out towers and high technological gadgets. It was Collins job to protect these celebrities. To me, this would be an easy job. The only requirement was that you had to be big and know how to handle a gun. This all seems like a fairy tale. But, the celebrities always have to be on television and can't live without the media. This is what eventually led to their downfall. Many people watched these celebrities living in the perfect town as zombies where knocking on their back walls. So, the people revolted and ran into the community causing a riot. What would you have done? Personally, I would have barged into the celebrities community. It was safe, and if I had lived during that time the only concern I would have would be to be safe and keep my family safe. So sure enough the celebrities zombie free zone was now infested with regular people. Celebrities always have to be the main attention. Sometimes, you don't. In the end after the riot Collins left with diamond earrings hoping to catch the attention of the nearest boat.

The Amazon Rainforest, Brazil

I came into their community blindfolded so I would not know how to get back. They must of had something to protect. Most likely their safety from the infection. I meet Fernando Oliveira, a doctor but it was not known why he was there. Was he there for his medical skills, or was he a prisoner? Anyways, he told me about his career of saving people's life. Little did he know, this was coming at a great cost. Fernando was a rich doctor who preformed organ transplants. He told me about how he received these organs, the black market. As far as he knew someone could have killed this person for a precious heart. All he cared about was the money. On one transplant, he got a extremely rare heart from China. What scared me was that he didn't test these organs to see if anything was wrong, this is what may have led to the problem. These organs from the black market came from China, where the intial breakout occured. After Fernando assited with the heart transplant, the patient came down with irregular symptoms. All symtoms of the infection. The infected man attacked one of the doctors and nurses and finally Fernando killed the man with a desert eagle. Intense story. This is when I learned of another way the infection could be transported, through transplants of the newly infected. Fernando seemed tramatized, maybe the reason why he ate the leafs? The more stories I hear, the more I learn how easily this infection could have been avoided. If only Fernando had checked the organs before he preformed all of his surgeries...

Meteora, Greece

Today I interviewed Stanley MacDonald a war veteran who fought from border to border in Canada. He had a calm yet frighted look on his face as he went back in time to recap his story for me. He talked about, "the Panic" before the quarantines of the infection. If only China had been smarter and quarantined the first people with signs of the infection, maybe we wouldn't be in the same situation we are today. John's job was to find the leading export of terrorist around the world, but he never knew what he was truly getting himself in for. John talked about the time he first encountered zombies. His team followed a blood trail into a cave where the rooms they found told stories. Heads shot off, clips on the ground, blood everywhere and hands still clutched to their guns. How would you have felt if you walked through this cave? Terrified? Why does it seem as though these people in the cave were petrified? John also told me a story about the time when he was alone searching through a hospital and there was a hand sticking out of the wall. He touched the hand and it reacted by grabbing on to John's hand. I had so many questions like, how many years had it been there and what did it look like? Back to the story the hand was one of a zombie and while John was trying to get lose it came out of the wall and he shot it straight in the head and it's brain went all over the ceiling. John's last sentence was, "Who in his right mind could have been ready for this?" Not me. John would need a lot of therapy, but that will still never get rid of the haunting images in his mind.

Lhasa, The People's Republic of Tibet

Today, I interviewed Nury Tevevaldi who lives in the most populated city, Lhasa, where the Social Democrats had just won the election. Nury seemed quiet and reluctant to answer my questions today, not quite sure why but I have a few ideas. Nury transported the infected for money. How could Nury do this? What about the moral side? Nury was only in it for the money, but how much will money be worth when you are at war with zombies. At that point all you care for is a place to be safe. Personally, from the information I learned from Nury, there really was no cure. The only thing the refugees had was hope. Hope for a cure that was not existing. I can't believe Nury could sleep at night after illegally transporting the infected across the borders. Nothing good at all comes out of this. Now, instead of the infection only being in China, it is now in Paris, because people were selfish and thought about themselves more than others. Would we even be in the state we are now if Nury hadn't helped spread the infection? Why are people so selfish? Die and save the world...
