Today I interviewed Stanley MacDonald a war veteran who fought from border to border in Canada. He had a calm yet frighted look on his face as he went back in time to recap his story for me. He talked about, "the Panic" before the quarantines of the infection. If only China had been smarter and quarantined the first people with signs of the infection, maybe we wouldn't be in the same situation we are today. John's job was to find the leading export of terrorist around the world, but he never knew what he was truly getting himself in for. John talked about the time he first encountered zombies. His team followed a blood trail into a cave where the rooms they found told stories. Heads shot off, clips on the ground, blood everywhere and hands still clutched to their guns. How would you have felt if you walked through this cave? Terrified? Why does it seem as though these people in the cave were petrified? John also told me a story about the time when he was alone searching through a hospital and there was a hand sticking out of the wall. He touched the hand and it reacted by grabbing on to John's hand. I had so many questions like, how many years had it been there and what did it look like? Back to the story the hand was one of a zombie and while John was trying to get lose it came out of the wall and he shot it straight in the head and it's brain went all over the ceiling. John's last sentence was, "Who in his right mind could have been ready for this?" Not me. John would need a lot of therapy, but that will still never get rid of the haunting images in his mind.

Yes, China is to blame for some of this but what about the Canadian Government? The infection was spreading into zones they had their army deployed in and they didn't inform their soldiers. The Canadian government should have taken their troops out of such hot zones and protect their homeland from infection. Things such as stopping drug trafficking are petty compared to combating the spread of Z's. This is AFTER the renshe were pouring out of China and into places such as Paris. Certainly Canada would have heard about this? Maybe they just didn't want to believe it at the time but i think Canada is the one to blame for this close call on their soldiers' lives.
